Get Down On Your Knees and Tell Me You Love Me Lyrics

I've been played a fool
Four, three, too many times
And when did lust for you
Become an organized crime?
I tried to keep you honest, babe
But I was just a pawn you played
The part so well
It hurts to know you're gone

Did you mean it?
Could you feel it
When you broke into my head?
Did you fake it
Just to break another stranger in your bed?
Was it worth it?
Was it perfect
When you up and left me cynical
Like you planned it?
You're a bandit
Just a no good, two-bit, filthy, rotten criminal

Let me count the ways
Five, six, seven, ate my words
Right from the silver plate
We checked in, checked out, checkmate

I couldn't keep you honest, babe
'Cause I was just a card you played
We draw so well, it hurts to know
You're gone, you're gone, you're gone

Did you mean it?
Could you feel it
When you broke into my head?
Did you fake it
Just to break another stranger in your bed?
Was it worth it?
Was it perfect
When you up and left me cynical
Like you planned it?
You're a bandit
Just a no good, two-bit, filthy, rotten criminal (x3)

Thinking this songs about Lisa and Alex. She supposedly cheated on him while he was on tour and this song fits that.

Did you fake it Just to break another stranger in your bed? -Deff sounds like her cheating to me.

It's "filthy, rotten criminal", not "rotten, filthy criminal". Amazing song though, very catchy :)

Um... I'm very certain that the lyrics are

"Just a no-good, two-bit, filthy, rotten criminal." It's TWO-BIT, not "too-big." That doesn't even make sense. When someone is described as "two-bit," they're being called a whore. The term dates back to when bits were used as currency, and two-bits was very cheap (about 25¢), so the spreader here is calling this "filthy rotten criminal" a 25¢ whore, hence the "two-bit" line.

It's definitely not "too-big." I don't think the person that the speaker is singing about is overweight, and I don't think her size is the problem that caused them to break up. Context clues would tell you that she's somewhat of a whore.

It should say "so the *speaker here is calling...", not "spreader."

Freaking iTouch.

But yeah. Two-bit, not too-big.

I just C&P'd these lyrics from somewhere else, basically, and didn't really check for errors until now. Hah. Thanks anyway.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Maybe this is about Lisa. I also heard that he cheated on Alex. But then I also heard he cheated with Demi Lovato whether he admits it or not. He always brushes it off and says nothing when asked about it in interviews.
