Two lovers drifted apart. The man was preoccupied with other endeavors, and neglected his love. In his absence, she found love elsewhere. He still loves her. He tries to forget her. He misses her desperately. He regrets not appreciating her while he had her. He tries to forgive her for her betrayal, realizing he has hurt her too. "Is there time for reason? Has your heart had enough? Is it time to let go and rise above?"Guided by reason, not emotions, not ego, he can understand the dance they played and why it turned out the way it did. With this knowledge he has a new understanding or enlightenment to see the situation for what it is and move on...

Basically, rise above your own ego to better understand and love others. Often not an easy thing to do.
