im thinking its about a holiday, but feel that thats a given? the feeling when you first step of a plane into the humid hot amazing holiday destination, "can i take this all in"

It seems to me that this is about a dream holiday to Hawaii of someone who doesn't like flying. The lyrics are about the discomfort of the seats, having alcohol instead of food to calm the nerves, the resign to the thought that if the plane goes down there is nothing you can do and when the flight is over after touch down the reassuring pinch of the hand by a loved one signalling that it is all over. Watching a film with a talking dog, is an in flight movie possibly that they are not concentrating on because of the fear of flying (I'm wondering if in Scooby Doo 2, doesn't Scooby dress up in a hoola outfit? just a random Hawaii connection.) Anyway I could be completely wrong, just the way I interpret the lyrics

when i first heard this song I thought it was about drugs.... purely because of the talking dog lyric. and if i fall then i guess i fall which is like coming down from a drug. but meh i dunno :)
