Shave My Pussy Lyrics
Maybe if i shave my pussy
Then you'll love me
Baby, will you love me?
I'm really feeling ugly
Pretending there is nothing
Is like erasing what is coming
Or ignoring the primal feelings
That are surging through your body
Oh, i really don't know
How we can stand still
In all of this snow
Oh, i really can't guess
How we can move
Through all of this mess
Credit card was worn out
Embarrassment at the checkout
All she needed was some honey
The lineup was getting impatient
With floating balloon horses
And the floating balloon flowers
Slowly getting pushed around
By the ceiling fans
Oh, i really don't know
How we can stand still
In all of this snow
Oh, i really can't guess
How we can move
Through all of this mess
Maybe if i shave my pussy
Then you'll love me
Baby, will you love me?
I'm really feeling ugly
Then you'll love me
Baby, will you love me?
I'm really feeling ugly
Is like erasing what is coming
Or ignoring the primal feelings
That are surging through your body
How we can stand still
In all of this snow
How we can move
Through all of this mess
Embarrassment at the checkout
All she needed was some honey
The lineup was getting impatient
With floating balloon horses
And the floating balloon flowers
Slowly getting pushed around
By the ceiling fans
How we can stand still
In all of this snow
How we can move
Through all of this mess
Then you'll love me
Baby, will you love me?
I'm really feeling ugly

‘Shave My Pussy’ is a coruscating, heartfelt and simple song, noticeable among the dense walls of sound over the rest of the album. And it took just two hours to write. Chad says, “It just had the best story. It’s obviously a really simple song, not much instrumentation going on. So it was really easy for me to capture like a raw idea. And it’s not even really developed beyond its initial state, which I find awesome. It was just a shockingly sad moment in my mind, and I just happened to press record. I was just picking up groceries, and had this moment at the checkout where I felt this woman was being completely alienated by all the magazines, all the collagen-injected magazines around her. So I ran home with that idea in mind.” -From an interview
This song is weirdly, hauntingly beautiful.
@zss Agreed.
@zss Agreed.
No, this song is indeed hauntingly beautiful, and I feel like only Chad VanGaalen could pull that off.
WTF? I was looking for a song whose lyrics expressed my displeasure with shaving (actually, plucking eyelashes) when I stumbled upon this "beauty." "Hauntingly beautiful" must definitely be a joke. Not sure what the song means, but I'm guessing things are bad in a relationship and she's desperate. If shaving one's kitty is what it takes to be loved, than we oldies would have all been destitute (in love) 'cause that practice didn't come in until I was well into middle age:) Lots of metaphors in this song, but I lack crediblity in that area so I'll have to leave them to someone brighter. And as for female shaving, there should be a law that men have to shave theirs (along with pluck all nose and ear hair); it's only fair.
I assume that when reading these lyrics you didn't realize that the singer is a man. It kinda gives the song a totally different meaning than it would have if sung by a woman.

And if you were to listen to the actual song, I'm sure you would think it is hauntingly beautiful.

And one more thing, there's no law saying that women have to remove hair, why should there be one for men?
