El Paso Lyrics
Cradle the sound, caller, speak through your teeth
I was up and away
I've never known what to think
What I wanted to know, where did god sway?
And if the silence was gold, gold, gold
When you got your way
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get
My eyes got soul, oh, those perverts are sick
I've held the truth on my tongue
Held it now until when
What I wanted to know, whether god was awake
Cause I was there as you, you played
And you, you fools, you look all the same
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never get what you
You all look the same
You'll never give what you get
You'll never give what you get
You all look the same
You'll never get what you want
You'll never want what you get
You all look the same
Just do your best to forget
Just do your best to forget
You all look the same
You got your way, you got away
When god, he was away
You got your way, you got away
When god, he was away
You got your way, you got away
When god, he was away
You got your way, you got away
When god, he was away
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get, no
You'll never give what you get, no
Just do your best to forget
Just do your best to forget
Do your best to forget

:) good.
everything about this song is screaming "throw away your expectations"
definitely is the hardest tbs song ive ever heard, and it sounds great. they coulda been doing stuff like this for a long time. its a progression brand new went on, and maybe tbs will follow.
this is the either the worst or best song i've ever heard...can't wait for this record.
seriously.... you know i was skeptical about the reunion.... i thought it was a way to get tbs "back on top" for whatever label they are on now, because all the stupid little fan boys cant get over the fact that people and bands change and grow....
i thought it was a way to up the sales, to market to the lowest denominator of the musical society.... but this song has changed my mind = )
this song is awesome
this song is a straight up "shut the fuck up" to the music scene, and online bloggers and trolls who have nothing better to do then rant and bitch and post negative shit on the internet.
"youll never get what you want, youll never want what you get"
people who were so skeptical about the reunion and think TBS is "shit" without certain members
its called progression, and it is a very good thing
This song is fucking awesome. Seriously, it's very good. It shows the evolution TBS has reached, it's their sound but ten times better. Now, Call me in the morning is another pretty jewel, their best soft song yet. It's also an evolved form of earlier works (like My blue heaven but impossibly better) I love this line up, not because fan bias, but because the amazing sound they've reached.
