ok, well, i like her vocals...i don't really care for kanye's dirty, perverse nastiness. so, i apologize or trashing your music choice, but i believe it is you who should be thinking a little more. i was criticizing the song, not you. so, thanks for the undue criticism of me.

This song is (in my opinion) about a love so "foreign" to her it seems unreal and cosmic... "extraterrestrial".
I never really liked this song and just kinda skipped it if it was on the radio, but today I decided I'd listen to the whole song and give it a chance... Seriously, what the f... It's not that great in the vocals department, and it's a pretty average, unimpressive song, but wait-- there's more. The lyrics are so disgusting, I didn't even know what to think. Alien sex?! I can't believe someone even thought of that, or wrote it, or sang it, or put it on the radio. This song is trashy, offensive; just terrible. Too bad, Katy Perry had a good thing going for her with the inspiring song, Firework. Even songs like California Gurls could be sexy, but not flat-out wrong. I think this song is.

The original of this song is far superior. Kayne adds nothing to this song but innuendo that doesn't belong but whatever sells records right?
Honestly, while I'm sure it was not the intention of the three/four songwriters and Katy Perry, this song sounds like it's about rape. In all seriousness, because what are rapists to most people? Not human, monsters, animals, etc. What does the Rapist say here? "Imma disrobe you, than Imma probe you/See I abducted you, so I tell ya what to do/I tell ya what to do, what to do, what to do". With that in mind, this song is a morally repulsive. The lyrics seem to promote rape culture - "wanna be your victim/ready for abduction", even if K.P. only intended to express how glorious sex is or whatever.
The music and rhythm themselves are not awful.
