The Morning Sun Lyrics
You'll never know
Unless you try
You're blinding by what
You idolize
I stand alone
Nobody knows
The morning
Sun has rose
He's in my light
He's in my soul
He's even in my
Rock and roll
I stand alone
Nobody knows
The morning
Sun has rose
I'm here to show
I'll help you out
It takes a lifetime
I've worked it out
I stand alone
Nobody knows
The morning
Sun has rose
The morning
Sun has rose
The morning
Sun has rose
The morning
Sun has rose
So let it be
And give it time
You go your way
And I'll go mine
I'll stand alone
Nobody knows
The morning
Sun has rose
You'll never know
Unless we try
We're blinded by what
You idolize
We stand alone
Nobody knows
The morning
Sun has rose
The morning
Sun has rose
The morning
Sun has rose...
Unless you try
You're blinding by what
You idolize
Nobody knows
The morning
Sun has rose
He's in my soul
He's even in my
Rock and roll
Nobody knows
The morning
Sun has rose
I'll help you out
It takes a lifetime
I've worked it out
Nobody knows
The morning
Sun has rose
The morning
Sun has rose
The morning
Sun has rose
The morning
Sun has rose
And give it time
You go your way
And I'll go mine
Nobody knows
The morning
Sun has rose
Unless we try
We're blinded by what
You idolize
Nobody knows
The morning
Sun has rose
The morning
Sun has rose
The morning
Sun has rose...

Well Anyway, this is actually 'The Morning Son'. Here's what comes to mind when I hear this and look at the lyrics. I feel it's a song about Noel and being compared to Oasis and stuff.
You'll never know Unless you try [People don't know how good they can be without Noel] You're blinded by what You idolize [People keep comparing them to Oasis. Oasis fans can't see they're still good without Noel]
I stand alone [Liam is now without Noel] Nobody knows The morning Son has rose [Beady Eye are the son, as in something to adore or idolize, and they've just begun]
He's in my light He's in my soul He's even in my Rock and roll [About how Noel has influenced Liam]
I'm here to show [Show Beady Eye are just as good, if not better] I'll help you out [He'll help out the rock 'n roll genre] It takes a lifetime I've worked it out [He figured out he doesn't need Noel in the band anymore]
So let it be And give it time [The Gallaghers eventually will work it out, they just need to give it time] You go your way And I'll go mine [Noel going solo, Liam going to Beady Eye]
You'll never know Unless we try We're blinded by what You idolize [Even he is still a little unsure if he's good enough]
That's just my take on it :)

@fastslow76 Spot on mate, exactly my thinking I also think Noel's song 'stranded on the wrong beach' is a reply to this song. Check it out

Further to the above, which I agree with, I also wonder whether it was inspired by Liam's early morning runs in Hampstead Heath.
Oh, and the "blinded by what you idolize" is a comment on how closely love and hate are related.
