Unrequited Love Lyrics

Once again it's happening
All this love is unrequited
Twice the pain, the suffering
All my love is unrequited
Oh my love is unrequited

That must mean I live again
And get back what I gave my men
Get back what I lost to them
Oh the shame, this crying game

Oh my love, I've been denied it
Oh my love is unrequited

And I know it's so when
I could play with the beat
Looking back at myself
While the violin plays

And who is my tomb
Another stitch to my womb
Another inch in this thread
And I know it all too well when
Once again it's happening

All my love has gone divided
All my love is unrequited
All my love is unrequited
All my love is unrequited
All my love is unrequited

in the question mark part i thin she says "and low is my tone" this song is so perfect

Looking back at myself

This song means exactly what the lyrics say. She has been rejected or left by a man. She has gone through many heartbreaks.

I think that this song has been written off a bit too easily as being a song of heartache. I interpret this as a song about loving two men and being left by them both after asking for too much, grasp all - lose all.

Hence; "Twice the pain the suffering" "what I gave my men Get back what I lost to them" "ALL my love is unrequited"
