It's really weird with this song. It has a few meaning I suppose.

1.) she loves the person for who they are and not what they look like.

2.) She still cares about her ex and wants to be friends still.

I dont knowww :P but it's a great song i really love her new album it's my favorite of hers to be honest :)

This song reminds me of that point when you've been with someone for a while, you've both said "I love you", and you've been through the ups and downs but it's come to that comfortable point when, despite it all, you realize that you could really spend the rest of your life together. Its nothin' but love. :)

To me this song is about real love. It reminds me of my situation with someone I love and care about in ways I don't even comprehend.... And though it's never worked between us for some reason, I still love him, and realise I will always feel the same way. I care about him so much, I don't want to lose him.

i have listened to many songs in my time but non have touched me in the way this song did, i dont know what it is the lyrics arn't that good really, their just typical pop love song lyrics but theirs something about it what is really special the intro is beautiful, the chorus is beautiful all the song is beautiful

the line 'even though we didn't make it through i am always here for you' is heartbreaking how a relationship this good could of ended

its nice to know that this song is bitter towards her ex like alot of songs are and that she always will care for him, she is basically saying that she doesn't love him because he's good looking or because he's the coolest person she loves him because of the person inside and how he is always himself. which is a relif for me because i would love to have a gf like avril and im not the coolest person out

the bottom line is this song is pure and utter beauty and bliss
