for me, it's about this ordinary guy who is reluctant to try new things or do something outrageous and spontaneous. and there's this other enthusiastic person who's urging him to go on a brand new adventure with them. this other person tells him there's no time to waste, his clock is running out and he should not be a stick in the mud.

it could also mean that she's trying to run away from everyone in their hometown and all the things they know about them.
