I think hes talking about either himself/or just someone in general who makes a lot of mistakes and stupid descisions/actions in life. And hes telling someone just to stay away that he is not a good person/influence to be around, that he will only cause problems for them. He wants to change to be better but he cant/hes love the addiction to much to give it up, so he lets it just take over him.

Hes telling them to just forget him, because he feels that it's too late, he can't change.

Thats just my opinion, what i took from it.

I honestly think this song is about a relationship with a certain girl who I don't know of, "Save yourself for a man with a conscience" Conscience: Is the inner thought of what is right and wrong in ones conducts or motives. This meaning, he doesn't have a conscience so his every motive is potentially wrong, and could cause harm, of course through this song he was going through his drug, Alcohol problems. He's saying he wants the girl to find someone better than him, someone who know's what they're doing. "Forget my name, forget my face." "Get the fuck away from me" Are all examples that he wants her as far away as possible so she doesn't have to see what he really is.

This is my input on my favorite song by them though. I could be wrong...
