It is all about the escape, where to go
I think this song is about being on a high, like just feeling liberated. Then someone comes and is trying to bring him down ("Now you're here, and got me thinking bout, parachutes and airplanes..that never hit the ground...<--you're aim is to land on the ground but if you don't...you're basically screwed).
I think the song is about someone going through tough time (what you feel like you are on 10 feet off the ground) and he knows he should overcome it with positive mind (like we are here in a kaleidoscope don't want it to be over like everything that's in my mind) but he can't do it (Is here right in front of my eyes?)
