i think this song is about still loving someone even after the relationship is long over. the other person has moved on & has someone else filling your place , & you still think about it like it was yesterday. you don 't know how to move on & stop loving them , even when it 's apparent that they 've already moved on & forgotten you .

I think this song is about a guy that just broke up with a girlfriend after a very long relationship. He is hoping with all of his heart that she will come back, but it is very unlikely. He can't get himself to get over her and it is still so strange for him to live his life without her. She is over him completely and he sees her going around with other guys which kills him every time.

This is better than therapy. when you read the lyrics and you feel like you can relate to it, you'll see how pathetic you are and start living your life again. the first time i heard this song, i really felt the connection. it almost felt like i was the one described in the song and i started to feel pity for myself. then with just a snap, i started thinking otherwise. i realized that i'm better off without that person and i started loving myself.
