Thrown Right at Me Lyrics
Jump 'long the creekside; the rock's crooked line
Fun curls your hair and the days open wide
And horses trot faster 'til sparrows fall down
But you just fall, laughin', to the snow on the ground
You grew up by playin' the valley so wild
And that's why you're so beautiful now
And, dancin' your bike to the lonesome, young mare
You call up her owner; say your heart will be there
You'll build a collection of scars on your knees
To learn how to count the impossible trees
You grew up by climbin' the birches so high
And that's why you're so beautiful now
And we live so close that we probably seen
The same bird, the same time: they solumnly scream
One day, I'll find just that friend who can see
All this weird beauty thrown right at me
Growin' by playin' the valley so wild
And that's why you're so beautiful now
Fun curls your hair and the days open wide
And horses trot faster 'til sparrows fall down
But you just fall, laughin', to the snow on the ground
And that's why you're so beautiful now
You call up her owner; say your heart will be there
You'll build a collection of scars on your knees
To learn how to count the impossible trees
And that's why you're so beautiful now
The same bird, the same time: they solumnly scream
One day, I'll find just that friend who can see
All this weird beauty thrown right at me
And that's why you're so beautiful now

THIS song...I can barely contain myself.

End of the first verse is 'fun curls your hair and the days open wide'
I'm a fan of his music, but this song is clearly on another level than his other work. I hope his next album will live up to this standard.
Does he have a child? A daughter, specifically? It sounds like a love song, but not the old overused love song. To me it's very paternal. Lots of references to childhood and growing up, i.e. "scars on your knees," something I would associate with childhood, running around falling over. Maybe it's fraternal, does he have a sister? And I feel like he's also making references to Sweden, and wherever he/the object of the song grew up.
Either way, this is probably my favorite song by him. It's gorgeous.
Sounds like a love song to me. He sings it live with his wife so I'm gonna guess that's what it is.

Oh whoops. Sorry everyone, didn't mean to post it that many times. "add comment" button seemed broken!

I discovered this guy today and wanted to know a bit about him. He comes from Dalarna in Sweden, and so does his wife. After seing them perform this song together, I think it's quite obvious it's about them. Especially this part: "And we live so close that we probably seen The same bird, the same time They solumnly scream"
Seems like he's singing about his love for the place he comes from and that she comes from the same wonderful place.
Absolutely beautiful song
