I think the meaning of this song is of a girl who was on a relationship and she now wants to forget about that boy. She wants to forget him badly but she can't forget about him. She wishes that all of this isn't happening, that everything was just a nightmare. It could have another meaning but that's the way I see it. Maybe it was of a boy she loved but he died and she can't forget about him?
The first time I listened to this the first thing that came to mind was "OMG this is about her losing her BFF-ship with Demi Lovato." I read somewhere that Selena did an interview and said it's not necessarily about a romantic relationship, so that only adds to my argument. But anyway:
"And I'll never be like I was, the day I met you To naive? Yes, I was" Selena and Demi met when they were what, 6 or 7, on Barney. I'd say a 6 or 7 year old would most definitely be naive.

One of these days I'll realize that I'm to tired of feeling confused, She could most definitely be confused about what happened between her and Demi, about why they stopped being besties. Especially since when they were still BFFs Demi said in an interview that Selena is her rock, so Selena could be wondering "How could she just toss her rock out of her life like that?" But for now there's a reason that your still here in my heart" Well they'd been BFFs for like a decade. Can you imagine how many secrets they'd have shared, how many insecurities they'd told one another about? I think this line is saying that she knows all of these problems Demi is/was struggling with, and she (Selena) still worries about Demi in her heart. Like maybe the reason Demi's still in her heart is because God will have it that Selena will help Demi somehow in the future.
This song has made me cry before when I think of how long they were best friends and then they just lost it all. This is my interpretation of it.
