I think this song is fairly self explanatory. She is leaving him and he doesn't want her to go... STAY! Maybe before this, he didn't have enough courage to express his love to her properly and that's why she left.

When they were together, she gave him something to live for, a reason to hold on.
For days and days after first hearing this song, I've had Theo's voice running through my head and usually that annoys me, but I really, really, really love Theo and Adam and HURTS!

These lyrics are self explanatory. It is a beautiful sad song. Theo, your vocals are amazing. Adam, you play beautifully. I am very impressed with this band.
Wow.. This song gives me goose bumps.. The first time i heard it i burst out in tears.. Its such an emotional song.. Begging someone you love and need, to stay with you.. I love the desperation in his voice.. He sounds as if he's world will end if this woman leaves him..every part of his being depends on her being present.. I love Hurts.. They are definatly a band to look out for in the future.. Their sound and lyrics are touching, deeping and just plain amazing..
