This song is the only thing I wold listen to when my girlfriend and I broke up. We had been together for 3 years, and no one seemed to mind the two obsessive lesbians. But she decided that she didn't want to be looked at different anymore. So she dumped me. I look at this song as two lovers who were experiencing problems...but one made the other her life. She centered her world around the other. When the other lover broke up with her, she was torn apart. She had relied o nthe other for everything, been obsessed with them, and now they were gone. She didn't want it to happen, she regrets it, wishes she could take everything back. This is exactly how I felt with my girlfriend...Maybe my interpretation is wrong, but this is the way I've always viewed this song..

This song is definitely about a break up.Neither of them could admit that they weren't happy together anymore,that the sparks had died until the end one of them finely got the courage to end it.

"You're not in my heart" make's me believe that they were still in the relationship because that's all they knew and were comfortable being with even if he/she wasn't in love with their significant other anymore.

This was the first song I listened to from the new album, I have to say despite the upbeat sound it's a pretty sad song.
