The meaning is faily obvious. Epica is saying that this is the time to change the way humans live and be more intuned to nature. They also make a good point in saying that were destoying the earth and then once we do that there's nothing left. Beautiful song with powerful lyrics.
It's about the Earth and animals and how we destroy it. Some people don't like this song because it's nothing like their other ones, but even though it really is different, I still love it, and it's a very beautiful song. Simone's voice is so amazing!
