Not sure if this is about a lost love...or the death of a love. The melody and the sadness in his voice makes me feel like it is about someone dying.
The part where it says "Could be when you get sad your memory slips" confuses me though. Anyone have any ideas about this song??

It is definitely about lost love. Either simply lost or death who knows. The part about when you get sad your memory slips. That is a built in mechanism we all have. I've had this long on again off again relationship with girl for many years. I can always remember the good times. Every single detail with amazing accuracy. However, there were of course bad times as well. I don't remember some of them at all. Others are just cloudy memories. I think that is what he was talking about. Our brains just seem to block that stuff out, and we forget.
That line maybe makes me think that the lost love is still alive, and maybe he is talking himself into revisiting that lost love. He is thinking about how he doesn't even remember how, or what went wrong. He just wants to hold her once again. I can relate.
It is a great song. Probably my favorite from "Mojo". He obviously can never have the things he is wishing for. He realizes it, and he keeps telling himself that there is no reason to cry.
