Yeah, welcome.
Welcome, you.
Hey.
I am your big brother.
What do I have to say to the kids?
Let go.
Life does get tough.
No need to stress.
Holds you back too much.
Let's go.
I heard they found a solution.
Where will you be for the revolution?
[What do I say to the kids?]
Wake up.
Things might get rough.
No need to stress.
Keeps you down too much.
Wake up.
I heard they found a solution.
Where will you be for the revolution?
[Yeah]
I'm so high up.
So high up.
And I like it.
Hey, I'm so high up.
So high up.
And I like it.
Hey, I am happy today.
It's not like other days.
So now I feel okay.
Somehow I feel okay.
Woah
Yeah, yeah.
Woah
Yeah, woah.
Woah.
Yeah, woah.
Woah.
[I am your big brother.]
Let go.
Life does get tough.
No need to stress.
Holds you back too much.

"No need to stress.... I heard they found a solution. Where will you be for the revolution?"
The solution to stress and a revolution. About legalizing weed...?
i think that could be it actually. good thought
i think that could be it actually. good thought
Could this be about the New World Order?
DUDE I TOTALLY THOUGHT THAT THE FIRST TIME I HEARD IT.
DUDE I TOTALLY THOUGHT THAT THE FIRST TIME I HEARD IT.
Really? I thought the exact same thing.
I love this song. Its like tellin' you why get all stressed and stuff when everything is about to change any ways.
In "I do my thing" he says "Have you ever lead and alliance // A bunch of stoner kids living life through defiance" So NO this is not about the "new world order".
im so high up so high up n i like it. loved the way he sang dis song on VEVO Go shows(impromptu)kid cudi aka the rager
The entire CD is set up as a narrative. Mr. Rager is, for lack of a better term, a split personality of Cudi. REVOFEV is essentially Mr. Rager introducing himself as a carefree partier, "Life does get tough. No need to stress. Holds you back too much". This segways into later acts following Cudi's descent into cocaine addiction among other things
If Kid Cudi didn't want people to think this song was about the New World Order...I feel like he would have been more selective about both naming his song "the Revolution of Evolution" and referencing "big brother" in it...it seems really strangely coincidental...
But at the same time, you can totally interpret this in a way that has nothing to do with the NWO.
I believe Cudi is talking to everyone about not stressing/worrying because it holds you back and while your trapped in your own self pity and anxiety...there are amazing things going on around you in the world. So when there's a revolution....
You know what...the New World Order makes wayyyy more sense...which I really hate.
"I heard they found a solution. Where will you be for the revolution?"
-- Solution to all the world's problems, the revolution, and a NWO --
"I am your big brother"
"I'm so high up. So high up. And I like it."
-- Could be referring to his status in the NWO, not to him being baked, he's high up in the hierarchy, and he likes the luxuries that come with that --
I really don't want to believe this song has to do with the NWO. I love Kid Cudi...and I want to believe this song really is just a portrayal of positive energy, a way to lift everyone's spirits.
I really don't know.
You know, whenever i connected this song to the album, i believe it fits well in the Mr. Rager story, that he tries to forget great focuses in life. But when the song is separated from the album, it's more of a revolution song, Saying to let yourself go free and not be held down by thoughts of contempt.
