There need to be more comments on this song. Seriously. I love the way the music picks up at the chorus... the sound of the chorus is really different from the sound of the verses, and I dig that. And I love this girl's voice, it's got so much soul. As for the meaning, I think the song is basically about someone who the singer loves to spend time with - someone who makes her feel alive, comfortable, happy, etc. However, that person doesn't feel as strongly about her as she feels about them, and they are rarely there as much as she wants them to be. So, she finds herself waiting and wishing for them to be with her, wondering why they always seem to run off so quickly when she so desperately wants them to stay.

I love this song. It means that she loves someone alot. But they're never there for her as much as she's there for them. "When I'm alone with you" He makes her feel so good about herself and them two together, even if he doesnt try. He probably just say her as a friend, but to her he's the one.
It seems like its about being way more into someone than they're into you. And you don't realize it until you're up to your elbows in the relationship, and then you feel trapped. It's like she's getting pissed looking back at previous interactions with this person, and just now realizing the imbalance.
It seems to be about a guy who strings a girl along, leaving her on the hook and spending time with her and making her feel good whenever it suits him, but when he's off with someone else or whatever he loses contact and show the same consideration as he does when he's there.
