Love Lust Lyrics
Never let a woman go even when you know she can always be replaced.
She can always be replaced.
Oh, lust only grows like anger and revenge oh beauty comes and goes but love stays until the end.
I wrote you a song Mississippi Isabel
I even sent you flowers when you fell ill
You've the strength of the Greeks
You are God's masterpiece
You're every triumph, every victory
I believe in every breath you breathe.
And I always imagined you'd be by my side
Whether I'm hiding in the city or tearing through the wild
You're only a yoke and noose on my throat
If your beauty is a fortress then my love will be the moat.
Oh, fall in love with you, fall in love with you, I must.
I'll consume every part of you to indulge my love lust.
Never let a woman go even when you know she can always be replaced.
She can always be replaced.
Oh, lust only grows like anger and revenge oh beauty comes and goes but love stays until the end.
Never let a woman go even when you know
With a guitar in my hand or a gun in my hand, I'd give it all up for your hand in my hand.
For the sun on my skin as the morning begins, I'd die in the darkness to feel your skin on my skin.
Young soul
Young love
Young blood
Treasure every beating heart that sets your soul on fire.
Love will set your soul on fire.
She can always be replaced.
Oh, lust only grows like anger and revenge oh beauty comes and goes but love stays until the end.
I even sent you flowers when you fell ill

I just heard a very clear recording of this live in Connecticut and I believe these are most accurate:
Never let a woman go even when you know she can always be replaced. She can always be replaced. Lust only grows like anger and revenge. Beauty comes and goes but love stays until the end.
Beauty comes and goes but love stays until--
Oh, never let a woman go even when you know she can always be replaced. She can always be replaced. Lust only grows like anger and revenge. Beauty comes and goes but love stays until the end.

I'm pretty positive its "I'd die in the dark" instead of darkness. No big deal, just thought I'd point it out.

Ok, have been listening to this song for just over a year, before I saw this site. I agree with some of the lyrics except these parts:

Mississippi Isabel - I hear it as "Mississippi is a Belle" You’re only a yoke, a noose on my throat - I hear it as "You're a only a yodle let loose on my throat". Sounds much nicer.

Great song, love it.
Great song, love it.
OMG I LOVE KING CHARLES SO MUCH! ROMANCE POP IS ADDICTING! WRITE MORE MUSIC!
First, this is a fantastic song- simple, poetically quick and rhythmic. Great lyrics. Second, I believe that the lyric is "then my love will be the MOAT" and not "boat" it sounds more like moat in the song and it makes more sense. thanks for getting these lyrics up though! A great song.
i agree on the lyric correction.
i agree on the lyric correction.
Superb song, it's beautiful rhythmically and lyrically. I agree it's really simple, King Charles is redefining a boring genre of late. He isn't even doing anything technically difficult but has such a great style that just works.

love this song. gotta find the right lyrics though
best line. love will set your soul on fire
There's a few things missing from above. I've made a few corrections. "You're only a yoke, a noose on my throat." and "with a guitar in my hand or a gun in my hand"
Here's what I think the song's lyrics are:
(Chorus)
Never let a woman go even when you know she can always be replaced. She can always be replaced. Oh, lust only grows like anger and revenge for beauty comes and goes but love stays until the end.
Never let a woman go even when you know she can always be replaced. She can always be replaced. Oh, lust only grows like anger and revenge for beauty comes and goes but love stays until the end.

(Instrumental Interlude)
Never let a woman go even when you know.
(Guitar Solo)
With a guitar in my hand or a gun in my hand, I'd give it all up for her hand in my hand. For the sun on my skin as the morning begins, i'd die in the dark just to feel your skin on my skin.
Never let a woman go even when you know
(Bridge)
Your soul Your love Your blood
Treasure every beating heart that sets your soul on fire.
Fire. Love will set your soul on fire.
At first listen I didn't go gaga for it. But after hearing it several times this song really grew on me.
There is two lines in the song that needs to be fixed: 1) You're only an older noose lose on my throat (This doesn't sound right at all)
You're only an ??? lose on my throat (This lyrically sounds better but I can't make out that one word)
2) Whether a flower in my hand or a gun in my hand
With every flower in my hand or a gun in my hand
