The Termination Proclamation Lyrics
Eyes that shall never see
A life chosen not to be fulfilled
Fate does not choose a life
Before the hand of Man
The ants march you to your...
Welcome to this violent station
The termination proclamation
All who enter here are killed
Prepare for death, forget will
The lines of right and wrong
Are blurred in the name of freedom
And those who cannot speak
Assume the positions and die
Feel the hook pulled by the system slave
Welcome to this vital installation
The termination proclamation
All who enter here are killed
Prepare for death, forget will
Forget will
[Solo]
Dead eyes can never see
The beauty of disorder
The army ants march you to your ...
Welcome to this violent station
The termination proclamation
All who enter here are killed
Prepare for death, forget will
A life chosen not to be fulfilled
Fate does not choose a life
Before the hand of Man
The termination proclamation
All who enter here are killed
Prepare for death, forget will
Are blurred in the name of freedom
And those who cannot speak
Assume the positions and die
The termination proclamation
All who enter here are killed
Prepare for death, forget will
The beauty of disorder
The termination proclamation
All who enter here are killed
Prepare for death, forget will

Pro-Life? Sounds like Warrel's got a thing against abortion. And it's "Welcome to this violent station", not "welcome to this vital installation".
Yea its definitely an anti abortion song IMO. Also, its prepare for death, forget will at the end of the chorous i think :P This would also tie in with the whole anti abortion thing (the baby gets no say in the matter)
While it's possible that it may be about Pro-Life and anti-abortion, I have to disagree. "Welcome to this violent station" "The termination proclamation" "All who enter here are killed" Prepare for death, forget will" This verse seems to imply war, particularly genocide. That's just me though.
"Eyes that shall never see A life chosen not to be fulfilled"
"And those who cannot speak Assume the positions and die"
Seems definitely about abortion. I'm not a fan of abortion, although I am pro-choice. I don't see it blurring the lines of right and wrong any more than I do about contraception practices. Interesting lyrical turn on this album for Nevermore. Maybe they found Jesus or something, because this is the same poor argument against abortion those people use.
You don't have to be religious to be against abortion. You can also be against abortion while believing it should remain legal. Ever seen an illegal abortion clinic? Theocrats pretty much create hell on earth.
"The lines of right and wrong are blurred in the name of freedom"? Anti-abortion or not, definitely it seems like someone at Nevermore had a change of heart.
Kind of depressing if he is against abortion. Another case of someone who is against something they personally would never have to face the realities of. There's a reason why the UN declared abortion a civil liberty.
And yeah it's in the name of freedom, to have the choice to not have a cluster of cells form into a fetus and then have that fetus form into a baby. Telling someone that because an egg got fertilized inside their body they no longer have a say on what medical procedures can be done to their body is a disgusting way to think. And it's usually something that a lot of people suddenly change their tune to when it affects their own personal life.
