Forever Shamed Lyrics

When will it ever end?
And when will my life begin?

No sweat and no regrets run down my back
A fine line just right before I crack
oh man to see me and then wave your finger up in my face
Believing in what you say and promising another day

Will it ever end, when will my life begin
All this built up pain forever plaguing me
It's the last time, it's my lifeline
It's the last time that I'll be forever shamed

No breath and disrepecting all my time
Dividing and speaking out of line
Tell me the reason oh everybody needs to feel your pain
So draw the line back to me and save me from insanity

Will it ever end, when will my life begin
All this built up pain forever plaguing me
It's the last time, it's my lifeline
It's the last time that I'll be forever shamed
(x2)

Ha, ha

Will it ever end, when will my life begin
All this built up pain forever plaguing me
It's the last time, it's my lifeline
It's the last time that I'll be forever shamed
(x2)

In my opignion, this is about Sully when he was teenager or even teenagers in general. It's talking about starting life and finally not getting embarassed and feeling sad for every little thing and when you can let things go you can finally feel free.

lots of Hetfield sound in here! I love the way his voice has matured over the years. and the double kicks in the chorus is SICK! I <3 Shannon's feet! ;)

letting go of shame is really hard to do but when you do.. wow, what a freeing feeling.

My Opinion

For me, these lyrics resonate directly with PTSD.

Will it ever end when will my life begin? All this built up pain forever plaguing me It's the last time it's my lifeline It's the last time that I'll be forever shamed

Especially that first line, he screams it over and over. For me, it's such vindication to hear someone screaming out what I feel and deal with.

I've got a PTSD playlist, and this song is an easy top 3 outof 40 songs atm.

Much love all, You're Not Alone
