Save the Hero Lyrics

I lay alone awake at night
Sorrow fills my eyes
But I'm not strong enough to cry
Despite of my disguise
I'm left with no shoulder
But everybody wants to lean on me
I guess I'm their soldier
But who's gonna be mine?

[CHORUS]
Who's there to save the hero, oh-oh
When she's left all alone
And she's crying out for help
Who's there to save the hero, oh-oh
Who's there to save the girl
After she saves the world
After she saves the world

I bottle all my hurt inside
I guess I'm living a lie
Inside my mind each day I die
What can bring me back to life?
A simple word, a gesture
Someone to say you're beautiful
Come find this buried treasure
Rainbows lead to a pot of gold

[CHORUS]

After she saves the world
After she saves the world

I've given too much of myself and now's it's drivin' me crazy
I'm crying out for help
Sometimes I wish someone would just come here and save me
Save me from myself

[CHORUS]

After she saves the world
After she saves the world
After she saves the world...

This song is actually beautiful :') I guess it's basically about a girl who is always there for everyone but no one is ever there for her, until one day it just becomes too much. All it would take to make her feel loved again would be 'someome to say you're beautiful' (What can bring me back to life? A simple word, a gesture Someone to say you're beautiful Come find this buried treasure Rainbows lead to a pot of gold)

Love this song :) x

My Interpretation

I like this song 'cause it's about woman's courage, strength... She can endure a lot things, like a man, but she's not so strong inside her mind. And she aks somebody to help her, because she's tired to stand alone.
