Oildale (Leave Me Alone)

It's more likely about those relationships where you're let down by friends, family or a girlfriend/whatever. You know, anyone who's ever suffered depression and had bad experiences with people will know how bad it hurts to hold onto the petty things that others can forget about and your heart still breaks over those things.

The entire Korn III album seems to be about trying to please others or being let down and experiencing the negativity from the bad things you suffer in life.

I like this new song. can't wait to hear what rest of the album sounds like. I already seen people thinking this is another song about Head. could be who knows. or just the shit you put up with loving someone and just being like fuck it leave me alone I've can take so much from you. its kinda like a "Counting On Me" part 2.

The emotion in his voice makes this song that much better...especially the crazed/annoyed/exhausted laugh he does at the end of it.

Man, not as much emotion as his past albums. Now it just kind of seems forced out, like hes lost his flare. Listen, I think Korn is a great band and Davis is amazing, vocal range is intesne and some of his songs back my heart stop in fear and disbelief. But hell, maybe this is just one of the bad songs on the album. Hes always had a few bad songs on tracks that just seemed loosely thrown together, while other songs were poured into. Nice song though, just not as good as it could have been. Peanut Butter Bitch Smack :)

Oh, and the meaning. To be honest, this could be directed at Head.."Your such a piece of shit Nothing but a hypocrite" I mean like, Davis said this about him before if I'm not mistaken. Or it could be about hypocrites in general, he just wants them to leave him alone. No one likes fake fuckers bothering you.

Honestly this song is more about kids and people in oildale and fuckin white trash it is i grew up there and im not some rich ass punk either i did my time in the dale in this song pretty much sums up what the people in said hell hole arer like. its all the hardasses that think theyre something special. i sit with korn. Fuck Oildale!

There have been some rumors surfacing that this is actually about Loc, John's ex-bodygaurd. I guess he was fired last year, not sure why. If not then it's just about Oildale lol. Escaping poverty, redneckville, things like that. Definitely NOT about head. There won't be any negative toward head this album, so stop trying to make the connection.
