Condemned Lyrics
Yaahh....
Condemned... Condemned... Condemned... Condemned...
Condemned... without given a chance to speak.
Without acknowledgment they’re made less than human.
Condemned... Condemned to anonymity. Trapped by... Trapped by obscurity.
Condemned... Condemned to anonymity. Sentenced... Sentenced to neglect.
Ohhhh....
They will never share our blood, yet is that reason to
drain what’s left of theirs, abandoning compassion?
Condemned... Condemned to anonymity. Trapped by... Trapped by obscurity.
Condemned... Condemned... Condemned to anonymity. Sentenced... Sentenced to neglect. Oh...
Why do we uphold allegiance higher than maintaining life?
The ties of blood breaking a stronger bind.
Condemned... Condemned to anonymity. Trapped by... Trapped by obscurity.
Condemned... Condemned... Condemned to anonymity. Sentenced... Sentenced to neglect.
Condemned... Condemned... Condemned... Condemned...
Condemned... without given a chance to speak.
Without acknowledgment they’re made less than human.
Condemned... Condemned to anonymity. Sentenced... Sentenced to neglect.
They will never share our blood, yet is that reason to
drain what’s left of theirs, abandoning compassion?
Condemned... Condemned... Condemned to anonymity. Sentenced... Sentenced to neglect. Oh...
The ties of blood breaking a stronger bind.
Condemned... Condemned... Condemned to anonymity. Sentenced... Sentenced to neglect.

I agree with Jacob. The first thing I thought about was definitely abortion. Really it could be any sort of neglect or upholding of a belief over someone's life, but abortion is what comes to mind first.
Also, does anyone know what's with the beginning of the gunfight mix?
no but the end is "twice the sons of BLAH! twice the sons of BLAAAAAAH!" and repeat
no but the end is "twice the sons of BLAH! twice the sons of BLAAAAAAH!" and repeat
yea almost positive its about abortion.......
Also, I find the line: "Why do we uphold allegiance higher than maintaining life?" to be very interesting. It almost seems like they're urging some sort of action against countries that support abortion, specifically the USA.
I don't think this necessarily must be interpreted through the lens of abortion. It could also be speaking about those suffering outside of our "ties of blood" here in America. For example, those who "will never share our blood" might also be people suffering in the third world. The many millions suffering from starvation and war in other countries are indeed "trapped by obscurity" as so few seem to truly care about and identify with their struggle. This interpretation also seems to fit better with the themes of the album as a whole.
All I know is that intro is fucking sick!
I looked at some of the vids aild made while recording The Powerless Rise, and after checking out the comments on here it makes sense that the song is about abortion.
I think one can also relate the song to today's youth tbh. In our words lies a lot of power, and in youth a lot of people are regarded as nothing just because they don't fit into what certain persons find as acceptable or outside of their little bubbles. Ofc it doesn't end with words..
This song just reminds me that we as humans have to regard 'life' highly, whether in everyday life or when it comes to the rest of the world \m/
