I'm not sure about these lyrics, except for the chorus. The verses seem nearly indistinguishable, unless a clearer version of this exists. But what I hear sounds nothing like what's provided.

i think it's a song about fear. like what would happen if you suddenly saw a sheet held in the air apparently by a ghost. you'd get a sick feeling in your lower stomach. (or womb). maybe the narrator has a fear of birds. after seeing someone's eyes being gouged out by them in a Hitchcock movie.
