I Am Made of Chalk

probably the most haunting song on crystal castles II, which is saying a lot.

I find that it is obvious that the entire album is a concept album on life and death and the empty feeling that is left in between them. This song is possibly the most disturbing one because it sounds as if the person fighting throughout the entire album has finally lost and it out of their control. Their life is ending and now they will return to their original state dust which descended from nowhere in the blink of an eye (celestica). Hence, the name i made of chalk..

this is awful. i love it. i hear some kind of giraffe sized reptile thing. running away. then being attacked. then dying. bleeding green stuff from its throat. its looking for help but knows it wont get any. so it just cries and cries. until the end. Humans did it.

I'm positive half way through I hear "Will I be OK?" Either way this song is disturbing it gives me chills everytime. Sounds like the whole song is going through an exorcism.

Well, by the name, I can imagine a drawing of chalk dying by being washed away.

i named my account after the song, for lack of ideas but also because this song is crazy. it's like some sort of unearthly lovecraftian monster, going through stages of aggression and passivity.

makes me think of university glow parties while high as fuck. also get a very sad vibe though

it sounds like drowning an im positive that i can hear a little girl saying something in some part in the song
