Leave us, the lying, cheating ones.
Bruised by beating a bottled fruit I found.
I found love, found jesus christ ripe and filling.
This fruits enough to feed myself, and no one else.
This meal is enough to heal.
Fed me to stay, curious of being thought out.
What do our brothers say? Always stay away.
They fed me to stay, curious of being thought out.
What do our brothers say? Always stay.
This heart is, this is where it stays.
This is where god is, and this is where is stays.
Oh god, I feel it. No fonder feeling exists.
Bruised by beating a bottled fruit I found.
I found love, found jesus christ ripe and filling.
This fruits enough to feed myself, and no one else.
This meal is enough to heal.
What do our brothers say? Always stay away.
They fed me to stay, curious of being thought out.
What do our brothers say? Always stay.
This is where god is, and this is where is stays.

I could be completely wrong, but to me, this seems to be a metaphor about the vocalist's opinion on the story of Adam and Eve. He is glad that man ate the forbidden fruit (so to speak), so now everyone lives a normal life. And "no finer feeling exists" is simply living life.
Given the vocalist's background from Birtheater, that doesn't sound very far off. Immediately my new favorite Oceana song.
No, I think that is completely wrong haha. I believe this whole song is about addictions, and material Gods (hence the name wool God). When he says he 'this fruit's enough to feed myself and no one else' that's just saying addictions and such are just selfish, they don't benefit anyone but ourselves. I think bottled fruit is obviously wine or alcohol, just an example of one addiction. He elaborates when he says: "This heart is , this is where it stays. And this is where God is, and this is where it stays". Notice he says 'it' instead of...

This thing or addiction belongs to us (this is where it stays, enough to feed myself and no one else'. And then the end 'oh, god i feel it, no finer feeling exists' is just him falling back into his addiction or material god and just basically giving up and indulging in it.
Also, since this song is from their new EP entitled Clean Head, I think the vocalist got out all of his feelings on Birtheater and can now leave it behind and the band will start something new.
