Forced To Love Lyrics
Well, if you think about it
Then you're a fool, yeah
It's just a size and the mind that won't give you up
And if I think about it
Well am I cool yet?
Cause there's a world of the knife that won't cut you up
And if we think about it
Well, is it true yet?
Cause there's no line that reminds whether we are enough
So let's think about it
Well, are we through yet?
It's just the crime like the time with the masculine glove
Cause we're forced to love
Yeah, we're forced to love
All the time
Forced to love
When we speak about it...(Remain, arrive, always open)
And if I speak about it...(Release, arrive, love is closing in)
So if you think about it
What would you do?
You just demand that the plan say we are not lost
So let's think about it
Are we through yet?
It's just the time to decide if we can move up, up, up, up!
Cause we're forced to love
Yeah, we're forced to love
All the time
Forced to love
Yeah, we're forced to love
Yeah, we're forced to love
Cause we're forced to love
Yeah, we're forced to love
All the time
Forced to love
Well, if you think about it
Then you're a fool, yeah
Cause you decide to believe in what we made up
And if I think about it
Am I cool yet?
Cause there's no lie like that life that made us give up
Then you're a fool, yeah
It's just a size and the mind that won't give you up
And if I think about it

This sounds so promising for the new album, hurray!
So, when I listen to this song I think of a friends going to someone and going: Oh you'd be perfect with whoever and whatnot, pressuring them, forcing them to love. And what them being together makes them 'cool' but to them it's not 'cool' and they're fighting and unable to work everything out, so that's mostly what the lines So if you think about it What would you do? You just demand that the plan say we are not lost So let's think about it Are we through yet? It's just the time to decide if we can move up, up, up, up! are talking about C: Kind of like high school.
I like to think this song is about not romantic love. I think love is the power of bringing your life into existence before your eyes. For example, when you say "I love music", you're recognizing and accepting music into your life peacefully, as your life and everything in it is a creation of love.
So anyway, I think this song is about the anxiety that can sneak through the backdoor of the mind, reminding yourself that as long as you're alive, you're forced to love and watch your life manifest, whether it's good or bad, sort of like a dream, you're forced to go through with it unless you wake up/die.
I think the song is also trying to express the idea that It's pointless to think about controlling the power of love. It's a bigger force than any mind can attempt to comprehend, and you'd drive yourself crazy trying to crack the code. Hence him saying "am I cool yet?", in other words, wishing he had the confidence of allowing his love to work without fear. He thinks this fearless love exists "a world of the knife that won't cut you up"
One last part is that he thinks about the people he loves and how they are all a part of his life through his love, and that they "decide to believe in what we made up". He is fearing that these people could change completely if he allows his love for them to change in any way.
