Cashing Out Lyrics
So it starts
With the kicking of your heart
The clenched fist of your will
If you'd love to rip this fucking place apart I'm right behind you still
What will you do now?
What will people think
Now that Christians bought up hardcore and Disney owns the punk scene?
Congratulations to you I guess
What else can I say
You're right I'm amazed you show up ten years too late
You sure as hell won't stay
This isn't defamation
This is your orientation
Nothing says rebellion
Like buying in
Buy up all you can
With the kicking of your heart
The clenched fist of your will
If you'd love to rip this fucking place apart I'm right behind you still
What will you do now?
What will people think
Now that Christians bought up hardcore and Disney owns the punk scene?
What else can I say
You're right I'm amazed you show up ten years too late
You sure as hell won't stay
This is your orientation
Like buying in
Buy up all you can

You're selling me hope On the promise of change There's one thing I know: That this ship can't be saved This ship can't be saved

Well... Sounds like Matty Good is pissed haha. Idk seems pretty straight forward to me.
Christians do own Hardcore pretty much... As I Lay Dying... Attack Attack... Disney and punk.... Jonas Brothers.... Puke He's just talking about how the scene is totally sell out now... Nothing says rebellion like selling out right?
Yeah, I agree. It is pretty straight forward. Starts off with feeling the emotion of the music and feeling the real emotions that start this scene, but it's too late to be apart of it as it is now filled with sellouts. Disney owning Punk? Christians running Hardcore? That's an oxymoron right there. I dunno if any of these artists meant to do it, but they're selling out their own scene. We have UnderOATH, Norma Jean, Oh, The Sleeper, Maylene, and Solid State Records, for example, acting as messengers to promote their religion. We also have Disney promoting their image through punk. I personally don't know any Disney bands cause I avoid that garbage but I'm taking a guess here and thinking that's what they are doing. Just a side note, even the people that work at the Vatican agree that the Bible is just stories and fairytales and will just let you believe in their BS because of how convinced religious people are... crazies. So we have bands promoting their crazy religious beliefs and companies using an image for dollars. And now the scene is flooded with people who join to sell out. At this rate, there is no hope because people forgot what this was about.
no sense that this song a such a little number of comments , the line "Now that Christians bought up hardcore and Disney owns the punk scene?" is really epic , , they have grown up on the lyrics , and throne to the wolves is probably their best album
