It's violent delight,
reference to Romeo and Juliet? "These violent delights have violent ends And in their triumph die, like fire and powder, Which, as they kiss, consume."

I loooooove the intense discussion about the meaning of this song...NOT!
The words are obviously "violent delight" and "tear down" but if thats what the whole song meaning is about then why leave a comment!
Does anyone have any idea what this may mean? I really like the Romeo and Juliet reference. Think about it, "live as if we die"? "If we die then we die"? "I need somebody crazy enough to tell me I will love you 'till we are buried.."
Or maybe someone who is so lonely and cannot find love or fulfillment anywhere and all they want is something or someone to be incredibly true and never leave them.

Personally, I think it's about a crush. I think it's a one-sided relationship where the guy wants the girl, but the girl is caught up with another guy. He never knew what he would do if anybody tried to take her away, so he doesn't know what to do now. But I think I see it this way because you see in a song what you want to see, and I want a song that describes my relationship with a girl.

I definitely hear violent delight. And I definitely think that it makes more sense to the song
