In Your Skin Lyrics
Throw stones, breaking bones, then wondering why you run for cover
You fight the world from inside
Lay down, playing dead to the pages just another wasted day in your mind
You live to run away
But fear is the hardest act to follow
Let me let you in
Hold on another day
Face the truth it's hard to swallow
It's time to begin, there's only one life
In your skin
Wake up, take a breath, remember why you're even breathing
You're still alive
Give it, give it up, you're the only one believing in all of your lies
You live to run away
But fear is the hardest act to follow
Let me let you in
Hold on another day
Face the truth it's hard to swallow
It's time to begin, there's only one life
In your skin, in your skin
You live to run away
But fear is the hardest act to follow
Let me let you in
Hold on another day
Face the truth it's hard to swallow
It's time to begin, there's only one life
In your skin, in your skin
You fight the world from inside
Lay down, playing dead to the pages just another wasted day in your mind
But fear is the hardest act to follow
Let me let you in
Hold on another day
Face the truth it's hard to swallow
It's time to begin, there's only one life
In your skin
You're still alive
Give it, give it up, you're the only one believing in all of your lies
But fear is the hardest act to follow
Let me let you in
Hold on another day
Face the truth it's hard to swallow
It's time to begin, there's only one life
In your skin, in your skin
But fear is the hardest act to follow
Let me let you in
Hold on another day
Face the truth it's hard to swallow
It's time to begin, there's only one life
In your skin, in your skin

This song from Smoke and Mirrors describes somebody who is afraid of who they are, so they're acting like somebody else.
"Give in, give it up, you're the only one believing in all of your lies" suggests that they've been faking for so long that nobody cares any longer, and they're now just tricking themselves. "Let me let you in" says that Wade accepts who they really are, they just need to accept it themselves, and stop "fighting the world from inside" which is the struggle they have to try and convince everybody they are something they're not.
That is likely more accurate. At first I thought it might be about a broken relationship that one of them feels so guilty they don't feel like they can go back to the other person because they are unworthy; yet the speaker tells them that "you're the only one believing in all your lies" suggested that their own false ideas have blocked them from accepting themselves and seeking redemption with the other person.
