Best song on Smoke and Mirrors. I think it's about a guy who's got back with a girl for the second time after realizing that he needs her and that he's not gonna lose her again this time.

i think this is about how he ended things with this girl and then realized that he was wrong for ending it so she gave him a second chance and he is embracing it and trying not to lose her again. basically he will never let her go because he knows that she is who he belongs with. beautiful song :)

I think it's about him and this girl have been very good friends and fell in love with eachother. They keep messing up and keep giving eachother one more chance. He is saying that he wants this try to be the last try and last forever. He is going 'all in' and he is doing anything he can to get her forever ("I'm all in for life") and he will never love anyone else. The same exact thing is happeneing to me. I have also not seen my baby for a week im literally calling out her name as well. I may be very young. But im all in for life.

Not to say anything against the romance comments bc that's what I believed too, but the only radio station I've heard this song continue to play on and recently heard is a Christian station, and in the link it's the first song a band member comments on, and if you listen carefully he says it's about committing yourself fully to something, but not what your committing to, he never says a relationship with another human or girl. Take that as you may, I'm not Christian but the song definitely as those undertones to it.

However I will continue to think of my commitment of the song talking about finally confessing to someone that you love them after losing them, giving one final shot and telling them that you truly love them even if it's hard for you to show it when you have so many walls (or defenses) up around your heart. And for them, you're gonna break down all those defenses to tell them how you feel about them because you'd rather be defenseless with them than live another day without them. And may be even purposing, or like offering a promise ring to them with your words, because you want them to know you betting your heart on them, that you want to be with only her/him for life.

I always thought it was about being tired ("All night staring at the ceiling") and being unable to sleep because of guilt for letting a relationship end when you shouldn't have ended it.
