This song is about having the comfort and feeling of love. That person says they will always be there for you. "You baby were like the sky, you held me up to let me fly" is one of the most accurate description of what the feeling of love would be, imo. With that love absent, she is falling down from the sky. Thats what a broken heart feels like. Just falling somewhere. Amazing song, and album.
