I think it means that he's like the devil? Or doing the devil's work. He becomes this dark thing and kills people, but then he has to cover it up and become a normal person again. If this isnt it, then I have no clue.

Like many of the songs on the album, the artist is reflecting on his growing insanity; a part of him recognizes that he is going crazy. He knows he is letting his passion for death take him over. He is starting to love killing more than he loves Annabel (if she suddenly was alive, he thinks he might kill her too).
He killed a bunch of people and felt shameless about it. the song shows he's like a sadist, and found pleasure in what he's done.
Very underrated song. Very underrated band. They look like 15 other bands though =/
