Wonderful song. I especially love the signing, yells at the end...so much emotion in them. I think that it mostly about people just not doing what is right and creating a scary wold. At times he can find refuge by closing his eyes and thinking of the peace that his family can bring, because the world is crazy and no one is listening to what's right.
DISCLAIMER I have just obtained a copy of Justin Furstenfeld's book Crazy Making. It's not very detailed, but it contains all the lyrics to all current (The Answers - Approaching Normal) Blue October songs, and his inspiration behind them. As I said, it's not very detailed, but it's his words on every Blue October song that is in the book.
