Ohh I was hoping to see some comments on this one. Obviousely it has to do with Rouge's change of heart, you can find that with the most minimal searching. But I want to know what brought on the change of heart. And there are some lines I'm not quite sure what to think of.
The song lyrics are based on alchemy and a little mythology. The songs name, Quicksilver, is a name for the metal Mercury which was believed to be a key component in The Philisopher's Stone or The Elixar or life. The song is about changing and becoming something new and better, which was the goal of alchemists.
I got a darker feel from this song. More akin to suicide/death. Taking back everything. Calling your avatar of flesh back into spirit form...to be born again. Time can take no prisoners. The cycle is fulfilled. The Wishfire burning cold.
