I believe that this song is about his version of a fairy tale And what it would be like. Scooter said that this song was influenced by his daughter singing a Taylor Swift song about Princes... And princesses (AKA "Love Story") He said he could make a song about princes and princesses "You might as well throw some Elvis and John Lennon in their too" Scooter said He stated this while doing an acoustic performance of this song. i agree with you, and it is pretty self explanatory. Personally, Scooter Ward has a keen eye for good music and lyrics. Like you said about being influenced by his daughter, he easily makes a male "version" of this song to Taylor Swift.
