This song is a tribute to simons mother. He sings about playing football as a kid, and having an asthma attack and celebrating with his mother - who sadly passed away years later. Simple meaning - its not about being a smac head.

Does amyone know if there is a problem with simon's lungs?? sounds like i silly question i know :P Its just that the first line in this song talks about his "crippled lungs" and in cloud of stink he also says "a black lump on my frazzled lung" just wondering?? Tbh i think hes just using them as metaphors etc.
Well I was at their concert recently and he was able to fairly belt it out, so they seem to be working a-okay :P But yeah, I noticed that imagery too, and he seems to mention horses (or whorses ;]) alot in the album aswell?

Bear in mind it can be smoked as well as injected, im sure your lungs would feel a bit burnt and crippled...
