she is talking about how we are on borrowed time from God and of Revelations. how no matter what we will go through that our home in the end is with Him, God Jesus Christ. alleluja! God is Good!!

i think this song means that the world will end and it will hurt you and weaken you but you will make it through if you dont give up and that you wont be going through it alone. the "life on earht...forever arrives" part makes me also think that the world will only end for those who are here now but a new age will come and i will protected by god.

Look at the story of Daniel. Revelations isn't all about the end of the world it's about now and what's to come. Revelation is compiled nicely of all the Old Testament prophets. If you look, in particular at the story for Daniel, and many of the stories, many suffered. This is what the song is about. Suffering, but God taking those labours we find vain and useless and making them eternal. This song is about being a light of the world, and having to put God first before your plan and purpose and sometimes God causes bad things but He also rescues and shapes us. I'm not one to say every song is about Jesus but knowing Flyleaf's beliefs and progression, I for sure have to say that's what this song is about.

In my opinion this means... "You might not be happy with your current life, but keep in mind that this life is nothing compared to how great heaven will be."

I this the "life on earth," part is about how our bodies and lives on earth are only temporary and that God has a plan and has had a plan since we were conceived. Also, The "and prove to be a only a breath, a mist, a womb for whats to come.." is aboue how life on earth is only a test and depending how we live it and if we follow Jesus our Savior, we will find eternity with Him in heaven ("How soon FOREVER arrives.") The only thing that is "forever" is heaven.

-Jesus is coming back soon but until He is ready to take us home, He will always help us through life.
