I personally thought it says "it's like I could drown of syphilis" as it is a water-based disease which was very prominent in the middle ages and would show the pure extent of Cheryl's emotions in this song; I love the song and I think it is about a love which people around Cheryl will question and ridicule, howrver I think she strongly questions it herself during this song and suggests that they only ckme out whdn she is 100% sure she is in love.
