I feel the need to advocate for Atreyu, because I love them so much... None of their music is shitty! They just do two different kinds of stuff now... softer stuff and harder stuff. Everything before Lead Sails was hard core, and then they went totally soft for Lead Sails, and now they're doing half and half. So just because only some of the songs are in the style that you like, it doesn't mean the band has gone "bad". They're just changing and growing to encompass new styles. I think all their music is great, but that's just me.

Ok this is just me but for me Atreyu has come to mean emotions. Alex has been thru hell. He puts his emotions into his music. As a lead screamer and songwriter, i understand this. Nothing Atreyu has ever done has been bad. Even their softer songs have emotion and meaning. Just because Alex doesn't scream as much doesnt mean he sucks. All their songs are heartfelt and for me that is enough. ATREYU KICKS ASS- stay (sic)

Oh and LSPA did have hard songs on it. Honor is fairly hard and When Two Are One is amazing.

See I think everyone of their albums is amazing, for their own reasons. One of the reasons I like this band so much is that I can throw in LSPA and its nowhere near the same sound as Death Grip. And this is the perfect middle for that. I know it seems horrible to Ovenstone that you can actually hear Alex sing but sometimes people get the urge and their music still comes off hard as fuck. Like this cd.

Like LSPA the band decided to end their album with a ballad. The song is catchy and it grows on you but it feels as if Atreyu has set a bar for themselves. It's a good song but it is strange for these types of songs to come from them. I'm not saying that they are bad at these songs but the band should be focused on playing song that fit their strengths. I still like the song though.

Honestly, I don't care much for this song. But my friend, Zack, does. :D

I love Atreyu and I disagree with JoeyOvenstone but maybe thats because this is me and my boyfriends song. This is my guess but Im thinking that Alex did this song because they do have heavy stuff but he wanted to switch it up a little. Really without this song, the long weeks of not seeing my boyfriend would be hell. My tears of missing him turn to tears of joy listening to this knowing I do have someone as special as him. So by far one of my favorite songs!

Sadly I feel this song was written knowing they were going to go on hiatus. Mabye it discusses the hardships of touring (being away from family) I think it also show's they are tired of people who criticized their changed sound over the years.

But I think there is a bit for the fans that say that Atreyu have helped them through the toughest time. I am one of them, Atreyu really do show me the light with songs like this
