    First....this song is about lead singer Alex's addiction to alcohol! Not about a fucking girl....read the lyrics its very clear!

    "Suck me down, it's time to rock and roll

    Basically means drink up, its time to party - let go out and have a good time...but when you make the move from going out with friends drinking at bars to drinking alone in your house you become an alcoholic

    It feels great to drink but you eventually pay the price when you abuse (any substance, not just alcohol) he came to the realization he had to stop drinking

    heres my interpretation..

    well, when i read it, its just a simple love mess, a guy who keeps falsely falling for a woman, making the mistake of using his penis instead of his brain when hes making these decisions. shes just a girl(not a woman) who ends up bringing him down because of her constant partying.

    or..

    its about someone beginning to deal with the effects of alcoholism.

    General CommentHonest to God, people. I come here to the lyrics and meaning of this song and almost every single damned comment is somebody complaining about how disappointing this song is. God, shut the fuck up, no one wants to hear you bitch. If you don't like the song, don't listen to it. Find another song off the album. Don't like the album, well too bad for you. It's a shame that people don't appreciate this band just because they did a slower song than they wanted them to.
    I personally think this song is great and I'm glad that Atreyu is putting more variety into their music. I also love thier older songs. Atreyu's just awesome

    General Commentatreyu mean big to me. i'm undecided about this song. its really infectious, but i mean fuck, alex hits a scream like twice. but i still can't see them going soft, cause 'her portrait in black,' sounds like it has serious black metal influences.
