lol'd at 'and the morning like cocaine'. Alasdair MacLean's songwriting would probably be very different if he hadn't done so many drugs in his life.
This seems to be about the morning after a party when everybody's gone home and the author wonders if he'll ever seen the girl he met last night.
On a side note didn't he mention Jenifer and Julia in an earlier song, I think it was "Is't Life Strange".
