Bleh, easily one of their weakest songs to date. The synth bass sections just ruin the song, you get a buildup for what should be an epic breakdown and then you get that crap
The lyrics are FUCKING AMAZING! But i agree, the instruments are weak and dont particulary support the lyrics enough to reach the songs full potentional.
straight jacket keelhauled however is an all round fucking brutalic and beautiful song.
This is my favorite song on the album next to Battleship Graveyard. My interpretation of this song is that its about a friendship that slowly fell apart and now that its done and over whenever the singer thinks about it, he is apathetic towards it and is seemingly glad its in the past.
yeah I used to think it was one of the weakest but it's grown on me a lot. the guitar parts are probably some of the most fun out of the album to play too :P
Great song, but the "Got to find a way outta here" gets REALLY repetitive and annoying.
