Innocent Lyrics
I remember walking around the streets at night
I remember people talking about their lives
One of us never made it home that night
Drunken high got the better of her mind
Jenny Died
The setting sun with music on
The risk and day was...
You can´t see when there´s sun in your eyes
You're innocent
You think everything is possible
And nothings gonna' get you baby
Everything is touchable
Nothing's gonna' beat you in this life
It's alright
Holding hands
Drinking cans
in the orange light
Summer breeze
Feeling free
Kissing the first time
One of us never made it home that night
Easy love someone said
"Give this stuff a try"
Jenny tried
The railway bridge, the river flowed
With shallow water down below
You can´t see with the sun in your eyes
You're innocent
You think everything is possible
And nothings gonna' get you baby
Everything is touchable
Nothings gonna' beat you in this life
Its alright
The setting sun with music on
The risk and day was.....
You can´t see with the sun in your eyes
You're innocent
You think everything is possible
And nothing's gonna' get you baby
Everything is touchable
Nothings gonna' beat you in this life

love it,,
it's about a girl who is naive in enjoying life sleeping with people and doing drugs.
'Easy love someone said "Give this stuff a try" Jenny tried '
but maybe I'm wrong.
anyway it's a great song :)
I can't believe theres only one comment on this song! It's brilliant.
It's about a girl that goes out partying and doing drugs and drinking and never thinks about the consequences. She thinks because she's young and pretty nothing can happen to her, and then the drugs kill her. Or at least I'm guessing it was the drugs, if it wasn't that it was something else. Hence the line "One of us never made it home that night" and also "Jenny died"
I completely forgot about this line. "The railway bridge the river flowed with shallow water down below." So I guess the drugs/alcohol caused her to get into a crash, and she died.
I think she fell off the bridge, i beleived this before i even saw the video for it, because of the line you just quoted, good work!
well I think you're right ilovethekillers21 but I think she didn't crash because of the drugs...
"You can't see when there's sun in your eyes You're innocent"
She's innocent, because she got flashed by the sunlight. Then she crashed with her car and fell down the bridge...
"The setting sun with music on"
I think this proves that she is in a car and that the sun caused her crash.
With this interpretation the song is quite ironic... and i love it :)
