World So Cold Lyrics
I never thought I’d feel this
Guilty and I’m broken down inside
Livin’ with myself
Nothing but lies
I always thought I’d make it
But never knew I’d let it get so bad
Livin’ with myself
Is all I have
I feel numb
I can’t come to life
I feel like I’m frozen in time
Livin’ in a world so cold
Wasting away
Livin’ in a shell with no soul
Since you’ve gone away
Livin’ in a world so cold
Counting the days
Since you’ve gone away
You’ve gone away
Do you ever feel me
Do you ever look deep down inside
Starin’ at yourself
Paralyzed
I feel numb
I can’t come to life
I feel like I’m frozen in time
Livin’ in a world so cold
Wasting away
Livin’ in a shell with no soul
Since you’ve gone away
Livin’ in a world so cold
Counting the days
Since you’ve gone away
You’ve gone away from me
I’m too young to lose my soul
I’m too young to feel this old
For so long I’m left behind
I feel like I’m losing my mind
Do you ever feel me
Do you ever look deep down inside
Starin’ at your life
Paralyzed
Livin’ in a world so cold
Wasting away
Livin’ in a shell with no soul
Since you’ve gone away
Livin’ in a world so cold
Counting the days
Since you’ve gone away
You’ve gone away from me
I’m too young
I’m too young
Guilty and I’m broken down inside
Livin’ with myself

Its about a guy who had his heartbroken and i perfectly describes the agonizing feeling of it
This song just speaks to me.. I'm not addicted to drugs or anything, but it just seems so close to my life in a way. But I agree with the above comments on what it means. (:
Favorite song on the album. I think it is about people and that they now see what the addiction to a substance has done to them. I can see it more as a drug addiction but anything could work. Through the song they realize that they have a problem but it is to late to fix it.
Well, it must be completely understandable why your answer is so stupid due to your name. It's obviously about two people who have split up and the guy is talking about how he can't stand to live without her and what it feels like to be living without her.

I think it's about a couple that broke up. And one of them can't deal.

@emotionalvamp No, Adam stated the song is about losing somebody close to you in your life, it's how your life changes. Pay attention to the lyrics, not to the fact that Adam was addicted 😉

Regarding xAquaRain, this is way too close to my life right now. My heart has been broken too often, and I am fed up with everything. But for the actual meaning and not my own sob story, I think it is giving an image of someone who is suicidal and heartbroken living in a cruel world.
one of the better songs on the album. "Life Starts Now" has a lot of stuff new to Three Days Grace. And although I think they did a good job trying new stuff, I wish they had more of the great melodic rock they played on older albums.
This song sounds closer to their older stuff. Like "Bitter Taste"
For some reason, some of the verses (just the way they're sung) kind of vaguely reminds me of songs from Sweeny Todd... lol everyone probably either doesn't know what I'm talking about or thinks there's something seriously wrong with my head (fyi, there probably is :3)
Anyway, I love this song. TDG never fails to disappoint.
the piano version of it is in their myspace its called KC's Caribbean I think.
this is a completely great song.
three days grace for the win :]] <3
Bad Ass Song!!! Three Days Grace kicks ass!!! Always have.....ever since their self titled album.
3DG came here to the Sault in Dec, they played this song & he said right before they played it "This is for the ones who lost a loved one in their life" so something tells me that its either about the death of a loved one, or a bad break-up! when he sang it, it had me in near tears & gave me serious shivers....such an amazing song non the less!
this song is like every other song on the cd life starts now. simple amazing. three days grace is awesome
