Favorite song on the album. I think it is about people and that they now see what the addiction to a substance has done to them. I can see it more as a drug addiction but anything could work. Through the song they realize that they have a problem but it is to late to fix it. |

I see this song in a Christian aspect. The person has sinned over and over again, and he feels he can not recieve forgivness from God. A bonus song I wish they would have put on the basic CD for all to hear. One of the most powerful for me. |

One of the songs I love from the new record! The mix of voices and coming back with strings makes me happy. It was one that caught my attention from the start with 30second sections. Looking forward to hearing the rest tomorrow. |

I still can't see this as the TDG "Animal I Have Become". If you actually listen to is, it sounds alot diffrent. Some of the lyrics may be similar though. |

| Just because Chevelle is NOT a Christian band, does not mean the members are not. Most bands can have songs which relate both to God and everyday life. You can take a song and make it fit your life anyway you want to, because there are experiences that make you feel that way. If you don't think it talks about God that is fine, but it is another possibilty of explain the song's meaning to you. | |

I am reading on his facebook now. He originally started the song too high, but went along with it anyway. I like the version even though I know many don't. I think we have the next American Idol here. |
